Professional grab bar installation

Grab bars installed right. Anchored into studs. Guaranteed.

Most falls at home happen in the bathroom. Our installers mount every bar into solid framing or engineered backing, then load-test it in front of you before we leave.

Installed into structure

Stud-mounted or solid blocking. Never drywall anchors alone.

Clinician-guided placement

Height and angle set by an OT or CAPS specialist.

Flat-rate pricing

Quoted before we start. No trip fees, no surprises.

Lifetime workmanship warranty

If a bar we installed ever loosens, we come back free.

What we install

Four rooms, one standard

Every bar goes into structure and gets load tested in front of you. The room changes; the standard does not.

Bathtub & shower bars

Horizontal, vertical, and angled bars placed for the way you actually get in and out — anchored into framing, sealed against water.

Toilet support bars

Wall-mounted and swing-away bars set at sit-to-stand height, including bathrooms with no wall on the strong side.

Handrails & stairs

Continuous graspable rails with proper returns, second rails on open sides, and hallway rails for the trip to the bathroom at night.

Entryways & thresholds

Door-side bars, porch rails, and threshold ramps for the single step that causes more falls than any staircase.

How it works

Four steps, usually one visit

Call or request a time

Tell us which rooms worry you. Discharges from a hospital or rehab get priority scheduling.

Walkthrough & placement

We find the framing, check the wall type, and tape the placement so you can try the reach before anything is drilled.

Flat-rate quote

The full price in writing, hardware included, before a single hole is made. You approve it or we leave.

Install & load test

Bars in, holes sealed, dust vacuumed, and every bar takes an adult’s full weight while you watch.

Home safety evaluations

A clinician decides where the bars go

Our assessments are performed by licensed occupational therapists and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists — the same professionals hospitals rely on to decide whether someone can go home safely.

  • Observed transfers: bed, toilet, tub or shower, chair, car
  • Lighting, flooring, thresholds, and the nighttime path to the bathroom
  • Equipment fit — walker height, shower chair, raised seat, reachers
  • A written report with photos and a prioritized list, including free fixes
  • Coordination with your discharge planner or home health team on request

What people say after the install

The installer found that our old bar was screwed into nothing but drywall. He showed me the hole. Two new bars went in the same visit, into the studs, and he hung off both of them before he left. I have used them every day since.

My father was discharged on a Thursday and they were at the house Friday morning. Bathroom and the front step. The quote did not change between the phone call and the invoice, which is not something I take for granted anymore.

Daniel R.Petaluma, CA · Google

The therapist who came out spent an hour and told us we only needed two bars, not the five another company had quoted. She also moved our bath mat and changed a light bulb. Honest people.

Questions we get every day

Straight answers

How much does grab bar installation cost?

Most single-bar installs land between $150 and $250 including the bar, and multi-bar bathrooms are quoted as a package. Tile, fiberglass, and walls with no usable framing take longer and cost more. You get the total in writing before we drill anything — the number we quote is the number you pay.

How fast can you come out?

Most customers are scheduled within the same week. Hospital and rehab discharges get priority, so tell us the discharge date when you call and we will work around it.

Can a grab bar go on a tile wall?

Yes. Tile is routine for us. We drill with diamond or carbide bits at low speed, seal every penetration with silicone, and anchor into the framing behind the tile. The risk is cracking, which is a technique problem, not a tile problem.

What if there is no stud where the bar needs to go?

That is common, and it is the reason so many DIY installs fail. We either open a small section of wall to add solid blocking and patch it, span the studs with a backing plate, or use a code-rated toggle system tested to 250+ lb. Which one depends on the wall — we tell you before we start.

How much weight will the bar hold?

We install to a 250 lb static load minimum, which is the ADA standard. In practice a stud-mounted bar with proper fasteners holds considerably more. We load test each bar in front of you at the end of the visit.

Do I need to buy the grab bars first?

No. We carry standard lengths and finishes on the truck. If you want a specific finish or a decorative bar, buy it and we will install it — as long as it is a real load-rated bar and not a suction-cup product.
